Came here on a recommendation from a friend at work. Can you say DELICIOUS HOMEMADE FOOD! All dinners come with homemade soup or fresh salad. Plus you get to choose two freshly homemade sides (14 to choose from)! I ordered the freshly butchered pork chop (huge 1 1/2 inch) which was grilled to perfection served with bourbon glazed apples. My sides were the freshly glazed carrots and their Queso Mac & Cheese. YUMMO! My husband ordered the fresh fried chicken which was fresh chicken tenderloins which had been dipped in buttermilk then a special seasoned flour mixture them fried to perfection! We asked for some of their homemade ranch dressing and dunked each delectable bite into this. Unbelievable bliss! If you want fresh and delicious food, you've got to try out this restaurant located on lovely lush surroundings in the middle of farm country!

Visited on Saturday May 16th. It was my first time here as Red Cabin. I liked the location very remote. I like all the new upgrades. I haven't been in here in over 10 years. It was green acres then. I was in for graduation dinner I didn't get to pick my food which was already picked for us. I really liked the meal picked. We had beef, mashed potatoes, macaroni, and coleslaw. The manager made sure we had plenty to drink. I'd definitely come back for another meal. After we were done eating we enjoyed sitting at the property. We played some corn hole an walked the little pond. Only problem I had was some of the younger staff and not smiling. They seemed like they didn't enjoy there job. Still won't stop me from coming back.

We had a large family gathering at the Red Cabin at Green Acres, to celebrate a special birthday. The food was good, the service was exceptional, the prices very reasonable. We had our own space partially separated from the rest of the dining area and it worked beautifully. Dave, the co-owner, was accommodating on all fronts. He even took his computer apart to loan us a cord, so we could connect our laptop to the flat-screen t.v. and show a slide presentation. The rest of the staff was nearby and/or checking on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The meal was served family style and included drinks at no additional charge. We brought in our own cake, which was not a problem, and the restaurant provided a separate table, serving utensils, and plates at no additional charge. I would recommend this restaurant to any small group looking for a space for an event.

I've been here three time since moving to the area from Portland Oregon. It is exceptional. The staff are great! Owners are always reaching out to customers and the food is outstanding! From the best pickled mushroom I've ever had to the best pork chop I've ever had everything is super. Only problem is that if your get there late your it wait a while for a table.....no problem, drinks are awesome too! Glad to be back in wisconsin!

After wanting to visit the Red Cabin for so long, I had my chance. All I can say was the food was incredible, the portions generous and the ambiance an hospitality was wonderful. Dave and his staff really go out of their way to make the customer- (not even a fair word) feel welcome and unrushed. While they are well know for a few dishes- I had the joy of sampling many of the offerings, and each one was as good or better than the last. I cannot wait to return- So thank you to all my friends at the Red Cabin- where the hospitality is as good as the food!

Well it's not what it use to be. Gave it three shots and each time it was disappointing. Menu steak to on special where tuff and on the dry side, decent flavor tho. Fish was chewy or just plain old fishy. Number of aps taste like they are reheated or from frozen. Beer and drinks are on the high side. With the drinks tasting more like soda than a mixer. It's along way down from the best prime rib I ever had to what comes out now.
